This is the first time for me to go abroad, so plenty of things are new for me. It is easy for me to find differences between Japan and Australia.

First, I was surprised at public transportation. It is the same as Japan that buses and trains are the main transfer though trains are more popular than buses in japan. The most surprising means of transportation is ships. There are no great river in Japan  that ships are sailing along and many people use them to commute like the Brisbane River. Moreover, I was also surprised at the buses. In Japan, there are indication in the buses which tells us the next bus stop for us to know when we should push the button. However, there is no such indication in buses here in Brisbane. I was so confused and insecure about taking buses at first.

Second, there are some differences in food and prices. There are some bigger food here than Japan. The price is also big, I mean, high. To take an example, looking at a bottle of coke is easy to see the difference in food prices. In Australia, the price of one bottle of coke is $3.5 in supermarkets while that is roughly $1.5 in Japan.

Lastly, I want to write the most annoying thing, is different so much from Japan. It is a wild animal. Every morning, I heard strange calls from outside. They are from wild birds (I don’t know their names) and I had never heard such big calls before.

I have experienced lots of things. Not everything is good, but I enjoy most of them.

no experience

I wonder what I should write here. I have no idea. 250 words...
Anyway, I intend to write every special experience I ever had.
The biggest event for me in Brisbane was, in the end, I bought an electric guitar.
Here I want to put the picture.

Black one. I loved at first sight with it in a guitar shop. Do you think it is soooo cool? It was a little bit expensive, but I don't regret having bought it. I may have to play it in front of classmates next week. I don’t know what song I should play. Totally unknown… I’m afraid and nervous now.

Oh I remembered the greatest one here in Brisbane! Yesterday was my birthday! I really thank everyone who celebrated it. I had wonderful experiences!
My friend treated me to pizza and one of my classmates prepared a whole cake for me and one more classmate who has the same birthday. Then I accepted a birthday card and everyone said to me happy birthday. I was so glad and grateful. After that, I came back home and had a dinner. My host family offered me a glass of wine but I declined because I may get drunk easily. Host mother baked two cakes for me. They were both really delicious.

And any other…
I prefer exploring slowly, in other words, I want to keep my pace. Therefore, I’ve not been to so many place yet. I have been to the city only twice.
Well, I am going to experience something by the time I write the next post.
