Hi! It’s been cooler at night, but still hot in the daytime. It’s
too hot to say the winter has come, isn’t it?
This time, I want to write about my study and leisure! I could get
an acceptable score to study in the undergraduate classes in UQ. They are very
hard so far. I have plenty of reading tasks every week and I will have to write
over 1000 words in the writing assignments. It’s just amazing! I’ve never
written such long essays. As for reading, actually I am a slow reader so it
takes so long for me to do reading assignments, which is annoying me!
Anyway, I would complain and moan more about it if I go on
mentioning the study in UQ, so let’s talk about something enjoyable!
I flew up to Cairns in the last break. It was beautiful! First, I visited
Green Island to ride a glass bottom boat and see the beautiful coral reef and
heaps of fish. I took photos of the beach and ate an ice cream. It was
delicious!
Then, I took the Skyrail to go to Kuranda in the next day. I looked
over Cairns form there. In Kuranda, I browsed through some souvenir shops and
ate an ice cream. It was delicious! I came back to the Cairns city by railway
which runs through mountains. I saw a magnificent waterfall on the way.
In the last morning of staying Cairns, I went to the beach early to
see the sunrise from the horizon. I was really impressed with that. I had never
ever seen such beautiful sunrise.
Now I’m undergoing the sticky things in UQ but I hope it turns into
a good experience after all. I want to enjoy living in and exploring this
enormous country!
